Celebrating Fathers Day!

As always, we like to dedicate this special time to all the fathers out there for being the amazing providers that they are to their families. Therefore, here are some special events coming up this month in honor of this holiday to those fathers who have been supporting us and their families.





The 3rd (Annual), “Kickin’ it with Dad’s” kickball game and Grill Off

Columbia, SC-The 3rd (Annual), “Kickin’ it with Dad’s” kickball game will take place on June 10, 2023, at Sesquicentennial State Park, 9564 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29223. This monumental event is purposefully geared towards rebuilding the family structure for years to come, starting with Dads. Kickin’ it with Dad’s Foundation was founded in 2021 by Shondell Ricks of Hurk Ricks, LLC. Ricks has a passion to strengthen our community for future generations. This year, we’ll have kickball contests, golden ball prizes, grill-off’s, $1000 Grand Prizes, tons of food, games, vendors, and much more. Click here for more details.










Fathers Remembrance Car Show

Please join us for our 3rd annual Father’s Remembrance and Honor Car Show, Saturday, June 17 from 10am to 1pm EDT.  Free registration at the event, registration ends at 11:30. Free event for spectators and free food. Everyone welcome. The event will be held at The Caughman-Harman Memorial located on 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Christmas In Summer

The Sally R. Brasley Foundation presents Christmas in Summer where everything is free. There will be a variety of clothing lines to choose from such as Ralph Lauren, Hanes, and so much more. June 16th entry by appointment only from 10am – 8pm. June 17th is for walk in only from 10am. Registration is open now! The event held at Eau Claire High School,  4800 Monticello Road, Columbia SC 29203 in the George Glymph Arena.
