So you can imagine how shocked visitors to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture were when they saw the rapper enjoying some quality time there with his pops, Ray West.
A video of Ye and Ray at the Washington, D.C.-based museum posted on Instagram shows the two enjoying a tour, with a guide explaining how to drop songs into a playlist at one of the exhibits.
You can hear Beyoncé‘s “Halo” playing in the background for a majority of the visual.
As previously reported, Kanye made headlines Monday for reportedly FaceTiming a young girl battling cancer only moments before she passed away.
The fan’s family allegedly “tried hard to get in touch” with Ye previously, and when he found out about her wish to talk with him, “he jumped at the chance to connect.”
Even though Kanye has yet to publicly confirm the news, his wife responded to a tweet on Monday about her husband’s selfless deed, writing, “We are praying for her family.”
