Cardi B so grateful for her success: “If I was to see Jesus Christ in my dreams today, I would kiss his feet”

The New York City rapper is on top of the world as this week. Her single “I Like it” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, is number three on the Billboard Hot 100, followed by her collabo with Maroon 5, “Girl Like You,” which is number four.

“I swear if I was to see God, if I was to see Jesus Christ in my dreams today, I would kiss his feet”, she says in a Twitter video. “I wish I could give God a hug, so I’m just gonna hug myself and make pretend that I’m hugging God cause this man does so much for me. I’m so grateful. I’m so happy.”

Cardi appears in the video with a rainbow hair style featuring blonde, pink, aqua blue and purple, wearing glasses and a gold chain as she sits at the wheel of a car.

Her phenomenal success follows hitting number one with her debut solo album, Invasion of Privacy, featuring her 5 times platinum debut solo single “Bodak Yellow.” She also hit the top of the charts with her double platinum hit “Finesse” with Bruno Mars.

Cardi is thrilled with her achievements, and enthusiastically thanks her fans.

“’I Like It’ is number three on Billboard’s Hot 100, and Maroon 5 ‘Girls Like You’ featuring me is number four,” she says. “Thankful for ya, for making this happen.”

She also added a comment for those who believed she was a one-hit wonder.

“They said by now that I’ll be finish,” she tweeted. ‘’I LIKE IT number 3 Girls like you number 4!!!”
