The tail end of last year dealt Diddy quite an emotional blow. Just weeks after his highly-publicized breakup with his longtime girlfriend Cassie, the rap mogul unexpectedly lost the mother of four of his children, Kim Porter.
In the wake of these tragedies, Diddy has managed to solider on, and he credits his ability to do so to the unending support of his family. Thursday night, the music exec took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post thanking his family members for bringing him out of a “deep depression” during this holiday season.
“Mama and the babies GOD IS SO GOOD,” the Bad Boy founder captioned a photo of his mother, Janice Combs, and twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila. “THE GREATEST!!! I’m the luckiest man in the world. The way my family has been strong has humbled me. They have led me. They brought me out of a state of deep depression.”
He continued, “Their strength and love brought me back into the light. I love my family!! THANK YOU GOD @CombsFamily #MamaCombs @the_combs_twins @myfancychance they’re all born on the same day!!!! Dec 21. My mother and the twins.”
As previously reported, Diddy has taken on the role of being a “daddy mommy” since Porter’s passing back in November 2018.
