Jussie Smollett debuts touching music video for single “Freedom”

Tarrice LoveJussie Smollett is feeling the love, and wants others to feel it too, in his new music video for his track, “Freedom.” 

The tender visual stars The Haves and the Have Nots actress Tika Sumpter and Grammy winner Cynthia Erivo as lovers in a same-sex relationship. 

Jussie explains in a statement, “This video is about love. I wanted to show two people doing the everyday things that every single couple does. I see nothing but beauty through the eyes of these characters we’ve created. I hope everyone else does as well. Love is freedom. Freedom is love.”    

“Freedom” is the first single from his debut album, Sum of My Music. You can purchase the song via the usual digital platforms and watch the music video on VEVO now.
