“Love & Hip Hop” Star Tommie Lee Could Be Facing 50 Years For Child Abuse
Tommie Lee is one of Love and Hip-Hop’s most notable characters in recent years. Her work on the Atlanta series helped to make her name recognizable in the Hip-Hop world. Tommie is known for being unspoken and this led to altercations with her fellow castmates. Most notably castmate Joseline Hernandez, a cast member who filed a restraining order against Tommie.
It’s easy to see that Tommie isn’t a stranger to making headlines. Today news is surfacing that Tommie Lee has been indicted on multiple child abuse charges.
The indictment was filed by the state of Georgia. The indictment is based around an incident between Tommie and her daughter.
Tommie is said to have allegedly walked into her daughter’s classroom in October and slapped her across her face, slapped her hands with a purse strap, dragged her down the hall by her hair and threw her into a metal locker.
Tommie is facing 3 felony charges and 4 other misdemeanor charges for the incident.
If convicted on the charges, Tommie could be looking at spending almost 54 years in jail. The incident first made headlines in October 2018 when Tommie was arrested twice within 24 hours in connection to the case.
