The Weeknd reveals he’s working on new album: “’Chapter 6′ coming soon”

Image Group LA/ABCThe Weeknd revealed the title of his next album during a show Tuesday night in his Toronto, Canada hometown.

“Being in Toronto these past two days I haven’t been this inspired in years,” the three-time Grammy winner said on stage. “I want you guys to be the first to know that I’m working on my new album right now. Chapter 6 coming soon.”

The 28-year-old singer was performing at the launch of HXHOUSE, a non-profit organization formed by his creative director, LaMar Taylor, to assist the arts community.

The Weekend’s latest project, his EP My Dear Melancholy, was released in March. Chapter 6 will be his fourth studio album following Starboy, which he dropped in November 2016.

The Weeknd was also featured this year with Kendrick Lamar on the platinum “Pray for Me,” from the Black Panther soundtrack.
