The Weeknd Shares Haunting New Music Trailer
The Weeknd posted a somber music trailer of an enthusiastic small boy in the garden of an empty house in a rainstorm after giving fans a two-minute taste of new music. The ‘Blinding Lights’ singer says, “I’ve been losing my memories.” The social media video’s caption read, “unprepared certainty…” The 34-year-old artist, known for his hit song ‘Die For You,’ released the cinematic teaser for a one-time event in São Paulo, Brazil, where he will present a new production distinct from his ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’ in 2022 and 2023. The creator captioned the clip on Instagram with an epilepsy warning due to flashing images, quoting Friedrich Nietzsche: “When you gaze long enough into the abyss, the abyss gazes into you…” The concert is on September 7 at Estádio MorumBIS. Ticket prices included a $1 donation to The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund, which partners with the UN to feed the poor.
