This is not a drill: Azealia Banks confirms new album, “Fantasea II: The Second Wave,” set for March release

Get ready to open your wallets, Azealia Banks fans. 

The rapper recently confirmed on Instagram that her second album, apparently titled Fantasea II: The Second Wave, is arriving in March. 

She writes, “Okay guys!! so Fantasea Two the second wave is going to be released via @entertainmentone. In March of 2018.” The disc’s title refers to Azealia’s debut mixtape, called Fantasea, which dropped as a free download in 2012. 

It’s been four years since she dropped her debut album, Broke with Expensive Taste, which featured her hit debut single, “212.” 

Since then, however, the controversial artist has made headlines for her beefs with a variety of celebrities, including Russell Crowe, Iggy AzaleaRemy MaRZALady Gaga and former One Direction member Zayn Malik.  

Azealia Banks currently stars in the RZA-directed movie Love Beats Rhymes, now available on DVD.
